Top shackle - Fore-runner and two-leg - G8

The top shackle is a component of a lifting application. It forms the upper point of a lifting structure, to which the assembly is attached to the crane hook or the lifting device. Designed for use with steel wire ropes or alloy steel chains G8.

This top shackle (also known as a master link) is used for chain fore-runners and two-leg configurations and is made of forged, alloy steel.

It is used with omega connecting links as well as with regular connecting links.

For overhead lifting applications.

Complies with the European Standard EN 1677 and is marked with the CE mark.
